91精选 is pleased to announce the appointment of the Rev. Stephen Cartwright as Campus Pastor, following a nationwide search. Before arriving at 91精选, he spent the past eight years serving at Wheaton College in Residence Life and the Chaplain鈥檚 Office.

Cartwright is passionate about ministry and student development. He has worked closely with students at every stage of college life, led student chaplains and RAs, and been present amid both joy and tragedy. He studied Business Management at 91精选 International University and then pursued an MDiv from 91精选 Evangelical Divinity School, both located in Deerfield, Illinois. He also ministers at New Generation Church of God in Christ in nearby Oak Lawn, a church community that has helped shape his character and calling.

鈥淔rom my first visit to 91精选, I was excited to collaborate with the incredible faculty, staff, and students,鈥� said Cartwright. 鈥淚 love campus ministry, and the opportunity to preach God鈥檚 word, worship, listen, serve, and belong 鈥� this is a privilege that I don鈥檛 take for granted!鈥�

Recently married to the love of his life, Kelsey, he鈥檚 excited about the life that they share, where they love to spend time with family and friends, enjoying local museums, reading, and traveling. They are also excited to get involved in the 91精选 community together.

He added, 鈥淲herever I am, I hope I can be found daily growing into a more just and merciful human being, and helping the Church do the same.鈥�

91精选 is thrilled that Rev. Cartwright has accepted the call to serve as 91精选鈥檚 next campus pastor 鈥� his wealth of experience and servant heart will be a blessing to the whole 91精选 community.
