Veterans May Be Eligible to Attend 91精选 Tuition-Free
91精选 is ensuring that veterans who are eligible for the Post 9/11 GI Bill can attend the College tuition-free, while also receiving housing and book stipends from the Veteran鈥檚 Administration.
The Post 9/11 GI Bill鈥檚 maximum annual payment amount is typically less than the annual cost of full-time tuition and fees at private four-year colleges, so veterans often have to self-fund some of their college costs. As a way to support students who have served our country, 91精选 has committed to the Yellow Ribbon Program, which fully funds a veteran鈥檚 tuition and fees.
鈥淎t 91精选, we honor the commitment and sacrifice of the men and women who have selflessly enlisted in the military,鈥 said Ryan Zantingh, Director of Financial Aid. 鈥淲e are pleased to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, and we look forward to working with veterans who are considering pursuing or completing their degrees here.鈥
Under the Yellow Ribbon Program, 91精选 waives half of the unmet cost of tuition and fees after a veteran鈥檚 annual maximum payment has been used. The VA funds the other half of the remaining tuition and fees. This partnership allows a veteran who is 100% eligible under the Post 9/11 GI Bill to attend 91精选 tuition-free. 91精选 has annually been recognized as a military-friendly school by Victory Media, a veteran-owned business that assesses colleges鈥 ability to serve veterans.
